As of 8 am June 16th, 2013, confirmation emails will have been sent to those participants who have registered as of June 15, 2013. If you believe you have registered but did not receive an email from us then email us ** here ** ASAP!

If you are intending to register but have not yet done so, application materials can be found here: 2013 Workshop Registration  Final deadline is June 25 and the weekend is an intense and fun bass experience not to be missed!

Early Bird Deadline June 1st.

The early bird discount for our June 28-29 Summer workshop is coming up soon (June 1st). Guest Larry Hutchinson of the Detroit Symphony will be working with both the College/Adult Division and the pre-college division. So, if you would like to save a few bucks, get us the application materials by June 1!

Mr. Hutchinson will join the esteemed faculty of Dr. Donovan Stokes (Shenandoah Conservatory), Inez Wyrick (Former ISB Board Member), Kevin Johnson (notreble.com), Brittany Frompovich (ladybassmusic.net) and Eric O. Hanson (University of Tennessee Chattanooga) for a weekend of performances, masterclasses, chamber music coaching and much more. The weekend is an intense and fun experience not to be missed!

Our 2013 Bass Coalition Summer Workshop workshop dates have been set for Friday and Saturday June 28-29 on the campus of Shenandoah Conservatory. Bring Renaud Garcia Fons to Virginia!

Renaud Garcia-Fons rarely travels to the United States, and the Bass Coalition has the opportunity to host him for a solo concert and clinic on April 30th, 2013.  The venue will be in Winchester, Virginia and the clinic will be on the campus of Shenandoah Conservatory on the same day.  Deadline for the campaign is January, 12, 2013, So visit soon! We are also accepting donations via Kickstarter for our 2012 Workshop. Each donation level has a reward of some sort, and every dollar helps. Detailed information on our third Bass Coalition Summer Workshop (set for June 16, 2012) will be up at www.basscoalition.com in upcoming weeks. Every year we have offered a number of full-tuition scholarships to participants. We hope to continue to do so in all future years. This year we are trying something new.
